One of my first 3D-courses tasked us with coming up with our own characters for a childrens explanatory video of the solar system. The character was to push a button or pull a lever, revealing the solar system and then dancing around or with the planets.
I created a robot-like character i calles Calypso and had alot of fun using rigs from the platform Mixamo to bring Calypso to life. Looking back at this video the crazy camera movement still leaves me giggling.
