For my final bachelor project, I chose title sequences as my main topic. And when you think of title seqeunces, you’ll probably think of James Bond. In my project I wanted to analyse all excisting styles and staples of the iconic James Bond Title Sequences. Deducing all characteristics, I came up with a video that summarizes the James Bond style at its core. Or at least thats what I tried to do.
After watching all Title Seqeunces, I made a list of all the colours, content and topics that were portrayed and was able to define the basic style. That mainly consists of: the female form, smoke, guns and weapons, James Bond himself and images relevant to the storyline of the film.
I created a storyboard, colour palette and Keyvisuals before moving on to the main event. First up were the recordings of the female model I filmed infront of greenscreen. Using Cinema 4D i created the 3D assets such as the gunbarrel and the pistols before bringing everything together in Adobe After Effects.

The storboard for the final video. I referenced and took snippets of different title seqeunces, that in my opinion were very clearly within the James Bond aesthetic and roughly brought them together and colour corrected them.
