In one of my CGI courses, we got to use a green screen room for the first time!
For the green screen, me and one of my fellow students thought up a story in which we could implement alot of green screen-footage. It was our assignment to edit ourselves into realistic backgrounds!
The story is about us not being able to decide which film to watch. So we grab our trusty Film Finder-App that teleports us into a film of our choosing, to help us decide.
We try out different films, making a game out of it but sadly, we still cannot agree so we end up fighting.
Due to the pandemic and a chaotic time schedule, we weren’t able to film all the footage we needed. So we replaced the missing shots with still images we took on a later date.
To be honest I think it adds a very comedic touch to it. We also had to do a seperate voice over, due to poor sound quality.
Against all odds my dream of being in the same scene as my favorite Star Wars character Obi-Wan Kenobi has come true!!!
